Human Resources Administrator

Boston, MA · Full-Time $26.00–$30.00 / hour

You're the first friendly face every new hire meets, and the person the whole company trusts to get the details right. If people and precision are your thing — this is your seat.

Great HR runs on someone who keeps everything accurate, on time, and human. That's this role. As our Human Resources Administrator, you'll be the engine room of HR operations in Boston — onboarding new hires, safeguarding employee records, keeping our systems clean, and being the dependable answer when people have questions. It's one of the best seats in the company to learn how HR really works, end to end.

What You'll Own

Not a checklist — the real impact you'll have every day:

  • Be the face of HR. You'll handle day-to-day HR support, forms, and documentation, and you'll be the first friendly answer to everyday employee questions — solving what you can and knowing exactly when to route it up.
  • Run the engine room. You'll process new-hire paperwork, status changes, and record updates, and keep HRIS data and files accurate, complete, and on time. In HR, the details are the job.
  • Make onboarding a welcome. You'll help every new hire start strong and feel like they belong from day one.
  • Help people through the big moments. You'll support benefit enrollment, qualifying life events, and employee questions — the things that genuinely matter in people's lives.
  • Keep HR in sync. You'll partner with HR, payroll, and benefits contacts to keep daily operations humming, and earn trust by being the person who always follows through.
  • Protect what matters. You'll guard confidential employee information and uphold the policies and standards that keep our people and the company protected.
  • Master the tools. You'll move confidently across Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms, keep data clean across systems, and pick up new tools fast as we grow.
  • Leave it better than you found it. You'll spot ways to make HR run smoother — and you'll speak up about them.

Why You'll Want This Job

  • Your work touches everyone. Every employee feels it when HR is sharp — and that's on you. Real impact, real visibility.
  • It's a launchpad. You'll learn HR from the ground up — onboarding, HRIS, benefits, compliance — and grow toward HR generalist, benefits, or HRIS specialist roles.
  • No two days are the same. New people, new questions, new challenges. If repetition bores you, good.
  • A team that backs you. You'll report to a Director of HR Operations who's genuinely invested in your growth.

You Might Be Exactly Who We Need

We're casting a wide net on purpose. No deep HR background? If you're organized, trustworthy, and great with people, we'll teach you the rest. You might be coming from:

  • An administrative or office-support role, ready to specialize in HR.
  • Early in your HR career and hungry to build a strong foundation.
  • Customer service, hospitality, or operations — where you got great with people and details under pressure.
  • Any role where you were the person others trusted with sensitive, confidential information.

If you're detail-obsessed, discreet, and the person others count on to follow through — we want to hear from you.
